*Sit ups, and crunches help to build muscle, but you won’t see your abs without any type of cardio exercise. Try Pilates, and eat healthier. Sit ups, and crunches WILL help improve the look of your stomach, but you need to consider everything you eat*

Here are a few more tips if you want to use them if you don’t already:

-Drink more water, 8-10 glasses of water everyday.

-Cut down on the carbs (there’s good, and bad carbs. The bad cars are chips, sodas etc.), fats, and sugars you consume.

-Try to eat more fiber, protein, and have some wheat too.

-Lift weights, the more muscle you have the more calories your body burns.

-If you feel like you are hungry try to have some water, but if you want food, then try to snack in between meals only have fruit and veges, apple, carrot sticks, remember try to eat an apple and banana a day.

-I suggest taking out all fizzy drinks and juices.

-Have a good breakfast. Breakfast is so important.

    -Eat lean meat.

-I started swimming every morning about 3 weeks ago before I ate breakfast, so far I have lost about 20 pounds of fat, and have gone down 2 waist sizes. I look, and feel way better because when you do a form of cardio exercise before you eat, you are burning the stored fat (stomach, and everything else), other than burning the food you just ate. Plus swimming burns fat, and tones up your muscles. 2 In 1!

-You can’t spot reduce, so you have to lose body fat in ALL areas.

Here is the problem, most people believe that they can remove fat from just one area of their body. That is not true at all.

If I had 15lbs of fat covering my abs, it doesn’t matter how many crunches I did, they would never show.

Keeping that in mind, the best advice is for you to begin a rigorous cardio routine. It can include any of the following:
    a- bicycling
    b- walking
    c- roller skating
    d- hiking
    e- running
    f- treadmill/elliptical (gym machines)
    g- jump-rope
    h- jumping jacks

All of those will help you out. Cardio should be done about 5x a week for good results and at least 5 miles each time you do them.

Ja.

Your body will burn fat from the places that it choses first. There is no way to make your body burn your stomach fat. The best thing to do is cardio and lose weight by burning fat cells from other places until your body starts burning stomach fat. Sit ups will help tone your muscle but don’t reduce fat unless you do them for a very long time.

By eating small meals every three hours. I got this book from my local library and it has really helped. Its called The 3-Hour Diet by Jorge Cruise. I was able to lose weight and not feel hungry. My problem area was my belly, after having three kids and that was the first to go. Doing sit-ups and crunches will help. Also, lay on your back and put your hands under the small of your back (right above your butt) and lift your legs up and down. That really works on the lower part of your abs that sit-ups and crunches miss.
